Why it is like this
Earplugs live at the bottom of a bag until the moment they are needed, which is always with the cabin lights off. This has a hard edge you can find by feel.
The sides are stiffened with a leather board insert rather than plastic, so the case keeps its shape when packed against.
Natural marks are not faults
Grain varies across a hide. Growth wrinkles, healed insect marks, range scars and shade differences between panels are characteristics of the material and are not grounds on their own for a defect claim. Every article is still covered by the ordinary 30-day return if you simply do not want it.
