Why it is like this
Cut from one hide so they start identical, then sent out to age at three different rates: the tag in daylight and rain, the cover in a pocket, the pouch in a bag.
After a year they will not match. That is the interesting part and it is also the reason we sell them together.
This one changes colour
Vegetable-tanned and uncoated: this article will darken with handling, take on a sheen where it is rubbed most, and keep a record of what you put it through. That change is the material behaving normally, not a fault, and it is not covered by — or excluded from — any return on the grounds of appearance.

Grain varies across a hide. Growth wrinkles, healed insect marks, range scars and shade differences between panels are characteristics of the material and are not grounds on their own for a defect claim. Every article is still covered by the ordinary 30-day return if you simply do not want it.
